Hi Jag,

The WP-Cache plugin speeds things up (http://mnm.uib.es/gallir/wp-cache-2/) and I also use Turck mmcache for PHP which caches PHP pages.

Will look at tuning SecureImage a bit too.

Ps - your captcha codes are really quite hard to interpret. (In other words - it's too good!) Took me three attempts (page reloads) to get one that I could transcribe successfully. You might want to relax some of "bendiness" - and also perhaps not use the letter "O" - as this is hard to differentiate with the number zero sometimes.

Hi Nigel - hope you and Vic are well. Glad your migration to WP worked in the the end. I like you captcha! Very contemporarily arty! :-)
Funny you should list the speed issue re dynamic page generation as a con. I was disappointed by this too - but apparently there is a way to configure WP to build statics - but I haven't foud it yet - and you're right about the documentation - it's pretty hard to navigate through.
